520 3 $a1995年十月八號, 在著名倫敦艾伯特音樂廳(Royal Albert Hall, London)的這場『悲慘世界音樂劇十週年紀念演唱會』(The Tenth Anniversary Concert), 乃是為慶祝改編自法國十九世紀人道主義小說家雨果, 一生中最為人所津津樂道的曠世原著《Les Miserables》之音樂舞台劇全球英語版, 於1985年在英國倫敦巴比肯音樂廳(London's Barbican Theatre)轟動首演後, 締造通俗歌劇(Pop Opera)佳績無數, 盛況不墜之音樂饗宴。為緬懷昔日倫敦首演風華, 並展現好萊塢王牌製作人柯邁隆麥金塔, 和其夢幻組合作曲家飽里爾與荀白克, 作詞克里茲莫等人精彩原創格調, 演唱會特召當年倫敦音樂原班主角如寇姆威爾金森、艾倫阿姆斯壯、麥可伯等人, 挑樑演出。大合唱團、倫敦皇家愛樂管弦樂團、和全體演員, 共計超過二百五十年速連袂合作下, 現場動寰宇, 勢驚天地。磅礡大氣, 順勢綜觀雨果筆下1789年法國大革命後, 至十九世紀前半葉, 長達數十載混沌迷亂的年代裡, 處於劣勢的市井小民, 躋身於古老封建帝制崩盤, 道德觀徹底潰場的洪澇中, 博死求生的巨幅血淚史詩。全劇以囹圄苦囚, 憤張無望雙眼, 祈告上蒼垂憐為序曲, 進而藉由主角人物生死離散、貪嗔邪妄, 而牽引出善惡交煎, 世俗匹夫在其夾縫間, 喘息中悲鳴, 所併擠出的至情火花。棄瑰麗炫目的排場, 演唱會訴諸極簡舞台手法, 俾使觀眾劇精會神聽『悲』劇, 是以歌聲潤澤心扉, 悸動神魂至波瀾壯闊之境後, 再引渡導覽, 靈通領悟雨果心中公理正義真諦, 當然明嘹其所謂濁世中希望之光闊弱閃爍, 人性心燈明滅不定，只有『善』念, 才是將萬物喚回本位的無為章法。觀看此劇勢必動容, 或為劇中人物同感戚愴, 或是聯想嗟嘆現實社會, 浮華人生, 有如『悲慘世界』, 不義怨懟, 可憫哀情, 唯天可憐見矣!
